四 | 　鳥の鳴き声が不気味に響く中、頭巾を外した女性＝イセは車夫の存在をとがめる。「お地蔵様に車引きと祈ると、かなわないという言い伝えがあるとですが、ご存じなかですか？」。車夫が「祈ってはいない」と否定すると、「うそつきは来世で蛇になる」と言い放った。トキはネタになるとイセに興味津々の様子。　X（旧ツイッター）には、「登場の仕方が完全に妖怪」「ミステリアスで気になる」「ゾワっとした」「なんだか少し怖い雰囲気」などと視聴者の反応が相次いだ。

五 | ドラマの公式Xアカウントでは「独特の雰囲気を持つ謎の女性」と紹介されたイセ。演じる芋生悠は過去にも「謎の女性」を演じていた。　清水崇監督、Kоki，主演のホラー映画「牛首村」（2022年）。公式サイトでは、芋生の役名は「？」となっており、「謎の女性」と紹介されている。

六 | 公開当時、監督の要望を受けて7キロ減量したことが伝えられ、その演技は「渾身の顔芸」「顔がドンピシャ過ぎ」「大変なシーンはみんな芋生悠が背負っていた」などとX上で評判になった。　松江編では、トキの周辺女性として、サワ（円井わん）、なみ（さとうほなみ）、おリヨ様（北香那）らが存在感を示した。熊本を盛り上げるのはイセなのか…。
